Workshop Registration Terms & Conditions

    We are excited to have you along for our workshop with Namaste Yogis as your host.

    This document sets out the specific details of the Workshop and incorporates the terms and conditions attached (Terms). In this document, the words “we”, “us” or “our” means Namaste Yogis Pty Ltd trading as Namaste Yogis ABN 13 680 261 714

    By proceeding with your registration and paying the registration fee, you agree to be bound by the Terms.

    Jun 27, 2026 – 12.00pm – 7.00pm (in person)
    Jun 28, 2026 – 10.30am – 4.00pm (in person)
    Jul 11, 2026 – 9.00am – 12.00pm (online)
    Please arrive 15 mins early as we will commence strictly on time.

    Registration Process Once registered, an invoice will be sent.

    Registrations are only open to participants on a first come, first serve basis.
    We reserve the right to decline your application to attend the Workshop at our absolute discretion.

    Price

    The price for registration is $888 incl GST (Introductory Offer) for one Workshop.

    The price is subject to adjustment in accordance with the Terms.

    Payment Terms The Price must be paid 100% upfront.
    Other Terms

    Attendance – full attendance and participation is required to receive the Certificate of Completion. If you miss more than 30 minutes of the workshop, you will be required to do a course catch up with Namaste Yogis for $150 per hour.

    What to Bring & Wear Yoga mat, lunch, snacks, and water.
    Yoga poses will be explored during the course – please wear comfortable clothes.

    Terms & Conditions

    These Terms govern your registration and attendance at the Workshop. It is your responsibility to review these Terms prior to registration. By registering for the Workshop, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and will provide the most recent version on our website at https://www.namasteyogis.com.au/ (Website).

    Registration

    You may register for the Workshop in accordance with the Registration Process and for the Price. In registering, you agree that:

    1. Workshops may take place either online or in-person, and this will be specified during the Registration Process. Please read carefully to ensure you are aware of whether your Workshop requires online or in-person attendance;
    2. your registration at the Workshop is confirmed once you have received an email notification and receipt from us;
    3. for in-person Workshops, entry to the Workshop will be permitted on presentation of your registration confirmation;
    4. the Price covers attendance at the Workshop and the Workshop Inclusions only, any other requirements will have an additional cost;
    5. you must pay the Price (including GST) for your registration and any credit card surcharge or administration fees as specified on our Website and in accordance with the Payment Terms;
    6. registration prices may be subject to change and we will use best endeavours to inform you of any changes.

    Refunds, Credits and Transfers

    Registered places are non-transferrable and we do not provide a refund for change of mind.

    Subject to the below, all registrations are final and no exchange, credit or refund will be given. For avoidance of doubt, no refund or credit will be provided for change of mind or if you did not enjoy the Workshop, arrive late, or are unable to attend the Workshop.

    Workshop Cancellation or Postponement

    If the Workshop is cancelled, varied, rescheduled or postponed, then this clause will apply.

    If the Workshop is postponed, you may notify us in writing no later than 14 days after the originally scheduled Workshop Date to obtain credit to put towards another one of our Workshops that occurs within 12 months of the originally scheduled date of the postponed Workshop (Credit Request). If we do not receive a Credit Request, your registration will be automatically transferred to the new date for the postponed Workshop.

    If the Workshop is cancelled due to a Force Majeure Event, you will receive credit for the registration price to put towards another one of our Workshops, noting no refunds will be issued or the Workshop may proceed virtually at our discretion.

    If the Workshop is cancelled for any reason other than a Force Majeure Event, you will receive credit for the registration price 14 days after the scheduled date of the Workshop to put towards another one of our Workshops. Refunds will only be issued under extenuating circumstances and at our sole discretion.

    We will use reasonable endeavours to notify you of any cancellations, variations, rescheduling or postponements of the Workshop through email, however it is your responsibility to ascertain whether a Workshop has been cancelled, varied, rescheduled or postponed. We do not guarantee that you will be notified of the cancellation, variation, rescheduling or postponement before the date of the Workshop.

    Any refund or credit issued to you under this clause will be your sole remedy for a postponement or cancellation of the Workshop and we will have no further liability to you in respect of any cancellation, variation, rescheduling or postponement of a Workshop for any reason.

    For the purposes of this clause, a Force Majeure Event includes any act of god, terrorism, war, civil unrest, strike or labour dispute, lack of transportation, breakdown, labour or material shortage, blockade or embargo, supplier failure, epidemic or pandemic, government restriction or recommendation, extreme weather, earthquake, drought, fire, flood, explosion, natural disaster and/ or any other Workshop, cause or circumstance beyond our control.

    Variation of in-person Workshops

    If an in-person Workshop is varied so that it becomes online attendance only, no refund or credit will be provided under these circumstances. We will use reasonable commercial endeavours to notify you as soon as reasonably possible of the details and specifications if this is to occur.

    If cancellation or postponement is required to the in-person Workshop, then the “Workshop Cancellation or Postponement” clause will apply.

    Workshop Conduct

    During the Workshop, you agree that:

    1. you will behave in an appropriate manner and act decently and with respect to all other participants at the Workshop;
    2. cameras, audio and video recorders may not be permitted at certain Workshops and you must comply with any requests in this regard; and
    3. you will comply with our reasonable directions and advice for all matters relating to the Workshop.

    We reserve the right to refuse entry or require you to leave the Workshop if your behaviour is deemed unacceptable at our absolute discretion.

    Photography and Recording

    We may take photographs (Photographs) and recordings (Recordings) at the Workshop. You agree that:

    1. accepting these Terms means you consent to being filmed or photographed by us (or our representatives) and for us to use your name, likeness, image and/ or voice in such photographs or films for the purposes of promoting our Workshops, services and products;
    2. no remuneration is payable to you for our use of such Photographs and Recordings;
    3. you release us from any infringement or violation of personal and or property rights of any sort based on our use of such Photographs or Recordings;
    4. we are not obligated to use any Photographs or Recordings; and
    5. you may request for us not to use a particular Photograph or Recording, however we are under no obligation to do so and any consent to your request will be at our absolute discretion.

    Intellectual Property

    In registering and participating in the Workshop, you acknowledge and agree that all intellectual property rights (including copyright) contained in the content of the Workshop hosted by us, including the teaching method, style and strategy (Content), will at all times vest, or remain vested, in us. You must not try to teach the Content to other teachers or educators without our written express consent.

    Medical Issues

    You agree and acknowledge that due to the exercises and nature of the Workshop, participation in the Workshop may constitute a risk of serious injury to yourself, including permanent paralysis or death. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you are medically capable of attending the Workshop. You recognise, accept and assume this risk and warrant that:

    1. you are physically fit and able to participate in the Workshop without risking serious injury; and
    2. you do not have any pre-existing medical conditions or disabilities that will affect your ability to attend and participate in the Workshop (Medical Issues).

    You acknowledge that you have a medical clearance from your medical practitioner to be able to perform any vigorous stretching and yoga exercises which you may be required to perform during the Workshop.

    You acknowledge and agree that medical services may be limited at our Workshops and the Location. You authorise us to take any such action as necessary for the provision of medical services at your cost, including the attendance of any doctor, nurse, paramedic or ambulance officer. You must reimburse us these costs within 7 days of demand.

    Notwithstanding anything else in these Terms we are not liable for any injury, death, damage or loss caused or due to any Medical Issues that you experience at the Workshop.

    Disclaimer

    You agree to attend our Workshops on the following basis:

    1. we do not guarantee any outcomes with respect to the results of our Workshops; and
    2. while our Workshops aim at assisting you to teach yoga to children, it is your responsibility to ensure that any students that are recipients of these practices are fit to carry out what is being taught. We are not responsible or liable for and you indemnify us for any injuries or death which occur as a result of incorporating our yoga methods into your teaching practices.

    Indemnity

    You indemnify us from and against all actions, suits, causes of action, proceedings, claims, costs and expenses whatsoever which may be taken or made against us or incurred or become payable by us in connection with or arising out of:

    1. any injury, illness, death or mishap to you; and
    2. any loss or damage of personal belongings that may arise through attending this Workshop.

    Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss, damage, expense or liability suffered by you or any other third party and caused or alleged to be caused directly or indirectly as a result of attending the Workshop.

    Subject to the below, any condition or warranty which would otherwise be implied in these Terms are excluded.

    Our liability for breach of a guarantee conferred by the Australian Consumer Law is limited, in the case of services, to any one of the following as determined by us:

    1. the supplying of the services again; or
    2. the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

    If there is a problem with the Workshop or our services caused by a breach of these Terms by us (Omission), and you have notified us within 24 hours, then to the maximum extent permitted by law our liability arising from, or in connection with, the Omission will be limited to the face value of the registration place purchased by you.

    Entire Agreement

    These Terms contain the entire understanding and agreement between us in respect of its subject matter.

    Severance

    If any provision of these Terms are held to be void, invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision is to be read down as narrowly as necessary to allow it to be valid or enforceable, failing which, that provision (or that part of that provision) will be severed from these Terms without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder of that provision or the other provisions in this Terms.

    Jurisdiction

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria.
