A yoga class specifically for a child with ADD and ADHD will include a lot of dynamic poses, breathing exercises, holding poses and relaxation / meditation. Poses are based on kids yoga therapy techniques as well as traditional yoga poses. Namaste Yogis’ founder Regina is a kids yoga therapist, trained by Zenergy (leading kids yoga expert in Australia) to run classes for children with additional needs. Regina is also a Registered Childen’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT) with Yoga Alliance.
We recommend booking a one on one yoga class to start off with especially if your child has not participated in a yoga class before.
